eolotec GmbH was founded in February 2012 by W. Losert and M. Pick. Both founders have their roots in the rolling bearing industry and have been able to expand their experience in the last years while working for a plant designer in the development department. At the end of 2011, the two founders decided to work on their own solutions with the long-standing team in their own company. Since the first quarter of 2012, our independent expertise is available for several applications and customers.

In the first years of the company's history, eolotec has won numerous awards and founder prizes. In addition to many other business fields, the development of the self-designed Main Bearing Unit (MBU) is at the forefront of the product portfolio. Three different types have already been developed, tested on test rigs and installed on wind turbines. The flexible MBU design can also be adapted for many other types of turbines in the future.

eolotec sees itself as an independent think-tank and concept factory for mechanical solutions in the field of renewable energies. We combine well-founded knowledge and experience from the wind-energy and rolling bearing industry, which our employees have gained over several years in development work at renowned rolling bearing manufacturers and turbine developers.
